My custom domain botifybot.co repeatedly fails TLS certificate issuance with:
“Failed to issue TLS certificate — An internal error occurred.”
I have already verified the following:
- The domain resolves correctly to Railway.
- The Railway verification TXT record resolves correctly.
- DNSSEC is disabled.
- There are no CAA records blocking certificate issuance.
- Railway Network Diagnostics completed successfully with HTTP 200 OK, successful DNS resolution, completed traceroute, and 0% packet loss.
- The website itself is reachable through botifybot.co, but HTTPS shows a certificate hostname mismatch.
The certificate repeatedly changes from:
“Certificate Authority is validating challenges”
to:
“Failed to issue TLS certificate.”
Could you please check whether this domain has hit a certificate rate limit, or whether there is an internal Railway certificate issuance error?

Your DNS configuration is correct and the domain is verified. This is not a rate limit issue. We've kicked off a certificate re-issuance for botifybot.co, which may take a few minutes to complete.
