Game Routing Funky Ways

Long story short:

Playtesters and I are located in Sydney, game server is deployed in Railway's Singapore Region.

A trace route test tells me traffic is leaving Sydney for San Jose before landing back in Singapore. a sub ~100 ms route is now routinely becoming 250-350ms, making my game near unplayable.

Is there a way to solve this or am I basically just screwed over?

There isn’t much you can do about how Railway routes traffic around the edges, but you could try and deploy a Cloudflare Tunnel and see how it performs.

That's disappointing but the Cloudflare Tunnel works well for now. Thanks!
