GitHub authentication error and blocked deployment (Invalid GitHub OAuth callback)

I am currently experiencing an issue that prevents me from deploying my application correctly and connecting my GitHub repository.

Situation:

  • My project is hosted on Railway and was working correctly before.

  • When trying to deploy new changes, Railway shows the message “Deploy this commit from an external contributor” and remains in a Pending state.

  • When attempting to reconnect the GitHub repository, I receive the following error:
“Error authenticating with GitHub – Invalid GitHub OAuth callback.”

  • Because of this, Railway is unable to access the repository and the new changes are not applied, causing the application to fail to respond (Application failed to respond).

Actions taken:

  • Attempted to reconnect the repository from Railway.

  • Tried logging in using an incognito window.

  • Cleared cookies and site data for railway.app and github.com.

  • Verified that the repository exists and that I have owner permissions.

Request:
I would appreciate your assistance with:

  • Restoring the GitHub OAuth authentication, or

  • Letting me know if there is any known issue with the GitHub OAuth callback, or

  • Fully unlinking the repository so I can reconnect it properly.

Please let me know if you need any additional information from my side.

Thank you very much for your support.
