Hi,
I’m experiencing an issue when trying to reconnect my GitHub account in Railway.
I have:
A Railway account under info@wearencom.com
A GitHub account under my personal user (fedebais)
I recently moved my repositories to a GitHub Organization and installed the Railway App with the correct permissions.
However, when I click “Reconnect GitHub” in Railway:
I am redirected to GitHub
After authorizing, Railway automatically logs me into my personal Railway account, instead of staying in the info@wearencom.com account
This makes it impossible to properly reconnect GitHub to the intended Railway account.
I already tried:
Using incognito mode
Logging into GitHub first with the correct account
Ensuring the Railway GitHub App is installed in the organization
Moving repositories to the organization
It seems Railway is linking the GitHub OAuth session to a different Railway user than intended.
Could you please help me:
Prevent Railway from switching accounts during GitHub reconnect
Properly link my GitHub account to the Railway account under info@wearencom.com
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm currently investigating this. Could OP please confirm whether you're using something like Firefox containers, or anything else that switches your browser profiles when redirecting to GitHub?
That information would help. Thanks!

Hi, as a workaround, connect your GitHub account from the Account settings, not when you're inside a project. See the attached screenshot.
I'll work on a fix.
