GitHub Integration Issue - Infinite Loop & OAuth Callback Error

Description of the Issue

I'm experiencing a persistent GitHub integration issue that prevents me from deploying my repository to Railway. The issue manifests as an infinite redirect loop between Railway and GitHub during the authorization process.

• Clicking "Deploy from GitHub repo" → redirects to GitHub → redirects back to Railway → loop continues

• Save button was initially grayed out, became active after toggling repository access, but issue persisted

Steps Taken to Resolve

1. Initial troubleshooting:

   • Verified GitHub app permissions (Railway App was properly installed)

   • Toggled repository access settings in GitHub

   • Tried both "All repositories" and "Only select repositories" options

2. Complete disconnection attempt:

   • Disconnected GitHub integration from Railway dashboard

   • Revoked Railway App authorization from GitHub settings (github.com/settings/applications)

   • Waited several minutes for OAuth tokens to clear

3. Fresh connection attempts:

   • Tried reconnecting through Railway dashboard

   • Attempted in multiple browsers and private/incognito windows

   • Cleared browser cache and cookies for both Railway and GitHub domains

   • Tried accessing through railway.app/new directly

System Information

• Browser: Chrome (also tested in Brave)

• Operating System: Android mobile (no terminal access)

• Railway Account: Free trial account

• GitHub Account: Standard account with proper repository access

Expected Behavior

Should be able to connect GitHub account to Railway and deploy repository without redirect loops or OAuth callback errors.

Additional Context

This appears to be a known issue based on similar community reports. The infinite loop suggests a permissions or callback URL mismatch between Railway and GitHub's OAuth flow. The OAuth callback error after revocation indicates the authorization state isn't properly clearing.
