Github pull reuqest made by claude code cant be autodeployed

Hi folks — seeing an issue where PRs opened by Claude Code on GitHub don’t auto-deploy to our preview branch, even though “Bot PR Environments” is enabled. PRs from humans deploy as expected; it’s only bot-authored PRs that skip preview deployments.

Has anyone run into this with Claude Code (or other bot PRs)? Any known config gotchas or required permissions/labels to allow bot PR previews to deploy?

We can absolutely add support for that. Please provide the full message you are receiving in GitHub about the PR not being deployed.

I was going to ask the same thing for github copilot but it turns out the setting was turned on just too late and turns out it already works!

The updated copy would be nice though (both in the settings and the docs)

Thanks!

It says This PR was not deployed automatically as @claude[bot] does not have access to the Railway project.

In order to get automatic PR deploys, please add @claude[bot] to your workspace on Railway.

I've added support for the claude bot, please try again in about 15 minutes.

I have also updated the docs and the Railway UI to point to the docs, so the docs can be the single source of truth to check which bots are supported.
