Vercel doesn't work with FastAPI / Python, so i have to move to another option. At first I chose Railway, but it doesn't work at all. it was failing to OAuth to Github, but then when that seems to work, it's still a confused mess. I keep getting asked to verify even though that's done, no idea where the actual deployments are because the project doesn't connect to Github properly, just plain garbage
i'm posting this here because help doesn't even work. moving to Render or fly.io. what a mess

You're on a free plan which is temporarily disabled. You can't cry when it's free. Bust out a whole five dollars.
i couldn't even bust out the 5 dollars. your app is more broken than Hungary in '48
also, that is a funny customer support approach, being a jerk. you don't get to be a jerk if your stuff demonstrably doesn't work. i'm not the only one running into issues
and why would you have a free plan out there that doesn't work, and you don't tell people its disabled? and you don't let people test drive? this is Hacker News material

Hey, the answer you got above was not from the official support, but rather from the community. I understand that you are frustrated, but what you have experienced today is due to an incident and not how things usually go.
well then you should have better advocates. i ran a survey with ChatGPT 4.5, SuperGrok 3, Copilot, Claude Sonnet 4, and Mistral Pro and the consensus was Render over Railway as a Vercel shift to support both Svelte / Vite and Python / Fast API. i went against the grain because i perceived Railway to be newer and sexier with room to grow (fly.io was #3)
but it seems i was wrong, because nothing worked and even non-Railway people here are abusive
