(while doing a simple http bench).

I wanted to bench how many requests could I send to my hello world golang server. After just a few thousand requests, I believe I got blocked, because I'm getting timeouts.

Now, I understand, don't do it like I did or get blocked, but I'd like to know if I'll be able to see my service again from my current IP. Do I have to just wait 1 hour?

I'm happy that there's some basic DDOS protection by default I guess.

Yes you will have to wait until you are out of the soft jail, we can not provide an ETA for that.

And please note that these measures are not in place to protect your app, they are in place to protect the platform and you should not rely on them, you should be using CloudFlare.
