I did not understand how to act. Can you explain it to me again? Do not close the conversation until I solve the problem. @echohack

Do not ping the team. Ask your question in a new thread, that’s all you need to do
a year ago
if your question is about a specific project or service, the project id is required
There is no project. The reason why I want to create a new project is that I go to GitHub and choose a repository. It takes me to settings and not a dashboard to host the project.
Yeah @ Adam, I think this is a bug.
I can recreate the bug for you in a discord voice chat
a year ago
If its reproduceable please provide a recording with touch points enabled, something said in a VC is not something we can track.
Ok, I can go to the voice room with you, but I cannot open the microphone or the sound. Just share and we will talk in chat.

they show where you touch on the screen through the screen recording
here
Question: Does your site not allow phones to host or not? Try it from your phone and let me know.

Mike is not an employee at Railway
Yes it does
Ok, watch the video and tell me what the solution is.

Click on the repo you want to deploy instead of clicking on the configure GitHub app option.

I'll leave that to Mike, they seem eager to help you, looks like Mike is waiting in VC
sorry, I couldn't recreate the bug, I though I did, but it works fine on my phone. my bad

No worries

Mike, If Malek isn't interested in your help please don't wait around for them in VC, there's other threads to help!
you see the three dots on the very top of your phone screen?
tap on it, and then send me the screenshot in this chat
Deploy the github repo on railway.app, now that you are desktop mode
I have the problem again
@𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐤 Here is what I want you to do now.
First, click on "Only select repositories". This will cause the save button and close button to refresh.
Second, click on "All repositories". This will be the correct option that we want to have all github repos to be read by railway.app
Third, click on the "Save" button. Do not close the screen, you will be redirected from github to railway. If you close the screen, then you didn't configure it correctly.
Then Tap on "Deploy from Github repo"
Then pick your repo while avoiding "Configure Github App". This part my take like 1-5 seconds.

This is correct?
No, same problem
@ brody. do you know what that yellow thingy that I circled in the picture says?
what do you mean? what does it say exactly? can you copy and paste that in chat?

limited trial plan, they won’t be able to deploy apps until they upgrade
From the docs.
When you sign up for a free Trial, you can connect your GitHub account to initiate verification. Your verification status depends on a number of factors, including the age and activity of your GitHub account.
If your account is not verified — either because you have not initiated the verification process or your account does not meet our criteria for verification — your trial experience will be limited to deploying databases.
Verification is a necessary measure to prevent abuse of the free Trial, limiting users from creating multiple accounts and reducing the risk of trial users deploying or hosting content that violates Railway's Terms of Service.
This is a fully automated process, and Railway does not respond to requests for verification. If your account is not verified, you can upgrade to the Hobby plan to unlock the full Railway experience. You need the full free trial, by going through the verification process, and wait for your github account to age a bit, and deploy more repos I think.
or you can pay for a paid plan.

you will not be able to use railway without paying
a year ago
there is a free plan, but it is only available to github accounts that meet hidden requirements
a year ago
which are not shared for security reasons
a year ago
as I just said, the requirements are not shared. You will not be able to use the free plan
a year ago
I’m sorry, but that does not make sense. You cannot use the free plan on Railway. You must pay to deploy.
Can you make that text that says "You must pay to deploy code" bigger on smaller screens? should be a quick UI fix

I’m not a member of the team, but that’s something you could post in <#1157406325593096264>!

it was fine to read on both my phone and computer. It may have just been the low bitrate of the sent video

the language barrier was the problem here. There are quite a few popups that let users know they’re on a limited trial
