I am using the hobby plan for railway to host my n8n projects.
I have encountered a problem with SMTP in the hobby plan, and found out that I have to upgrade to PRO. When I do, do I need to redeploy? I have many projects and workflows which need uptime, and I can not go through the redeployment process.
When I upgrade to PRO, will SMTP be instantly available for my projects or do I need to redeploy afterwards?

I’m fairly certain you need to redeploy after you upgrade to pro
Thank you, I upgraded already, I hate redeploying, because I almost lost my stuff 3 times because of it breaking down unexpectedly, and my biggest project has 10-20 working workflows, which I cannot lose and will be pain exporting and importing to a new project in case something broke down again

you shouldnt be losing anything, are your n8n workflows hooked up to a volume or persistent storage?
Im not sure. I dont know why, but It happened to me that railway stopped my projects because my card declined, and then I spent several hours redeploying because it kept crashing

well redeploying shouldnt crash the n8n unless there was an error with it

probably configuration or something on that layer

if youre still having issues with deploying it and it crashing, can u show us what ur logs are?
