Hello Railway Support Team,
I received a deployment crash notification for my project:
Project name: emsoir-ai-chatbot
Environment: production
Workspace / project group: precious-dream
The email says:
“Deploy Crashed! Your deployment for emsoir-ai-chatbot in precious-dream crashed within the production environment.”
I need help understanding why the deployment is crashing and what needs to be fixed.
This project is a Shopify + WhatsApp + AI chatbot automation backend. It is expected to run in production and handle Shopify webhooks, customer/order data, and WhatsApp messaging flows.
Could you please help me check:
- Why the latest deployment crashed
- Whether the issue is related to the start command, build command, missing environment variables, port configuration, dependency installation, or runtime error
- Whether the service is correctly listening on the Railway-provided PORT
- Whether there are any missing or invalid environment variables
- What exact error from the deploy/runtime logs caused the crash
I can provide the deploy logs if needed.

Thank you for your response.
At the moment, I am not able to open the deployment logs from my Railway dashboard. The project shows that the deployment crashed, but I cannot access the log section right now.

Could you please check the latest crashed deployment from your side and let me know what caused the crash?
If possible, please check the following points:
- Whether the service is listening on the correct Railway PORT
- Whether the start command is missing or incorrect
- Whether any required environment variables are missing
- Whether there is a dependency installation issue
- Whether the app is crashing because of a runtime error
- Whether the deployment has a build error or only crashes after deployment
This is a Shopify + WhatsApp + AI chatbot automation backend, and I need help identifying the exact reason why the production deployment crashed.
