We run Postgres HA in project “Progress” (prod) and need to rotate the database password after the Oct 21 incident. There’s no Regenerate option in the Database → Config tab. What’s the supported way to rotate credentials on an HA cluster without breaking replication/failover?

We're sorry for the extra work the October 21 incident has created for you. Postgres HA clusters don't have a Regenerate password control, and the rotation procedure for standalone Postgres doesn't apply to HA groups. We don't have a date for password regeneration on HA databases.

To reduce exposure in the meantime, you can remove the TCP proxy (public access) from the HA database, which takes away its public endpoint. Before you do, make sure nothing outside Railway still connects through it, because those connections will stop. Removing the proxy doesn't change the password itself.
