No, I'm pretty sure Railway will use your credits before charging your card

You only get billed the amount you are exceeding above the 5$. When you stay below 5$ you won't get billed. When billed your credits should be used

That's only for people who have a waived hobby plan, everyone else is billed a minimum of 5 dollars a month

I did ask and it seems like the answer isn't super clear

Although Brody offered to refund you and then manually remove 5 dollars from your credits instead if you are charged
so you can give it a shot if you want and then get back to us on whether you were charged or not

I'm still pretty sure you won't be charged though

they had the Hobby Plan role when they opened the thread too so I think it's bugged, never got removed 🤣
