Hi, I need to perform database maintenance safely. My project has an application service and two cron services that call the application. Some jobs continue in the background after the cron request returns.

What is the supported way to stop all three services without deleting the services or their data, verify that previous replicas and background jobs have terminated, and prevent cron schedules, queued deployments, GitHub pushes or platform replacements from restarting them until I explicitly resume?

Does removing a cron schedule trigger a deployment or start command? What is the safest way to restore the services afterward?
