It will be applied automatically so long as you have paid your first bill (credit cannot be used for this).

It's not going to be automatically applied, bounties go into available earnings, that is separate from credits.

From the available earnings you can either withdraw to credits, or you can withdraw to USD.

That is, when you have >100 USD in your available earnings.
