It's still increasing the price of current usage even though its not in use how do i deactivate this?

If your project is not running you are not being charged for CPU, egress, or RAM usage

If you have a volume attached you could still be charged for storage

What Loudbook said is true. If you want to stop your services, simply remove their deployment by going to your service, clicking on the three dots of an active deployment and selecting remove. If you want to completely eliminate charges, delete your project by going to its settings and then clicking the red "Delete Project" button.
got it thank so much to you both i've deleted my entire project and that seemed to fix it
