When trying to update my personal account to Pro, it just forces me to create a new 'team'. I need to transfer ownership of a project to my personal account, but since it is only on trial it doesnt work.
I have a team already that is on pro, but it doesn't seem as I can get the project transfered to it?

Personal accounts can only directly be upgraded to Hobby, upgrading to Pro does create a new team (or Pro workspace).
It seems that your personal account would need to be on a paid plan (Hobby) for you to receive the transfer.
That's definitely a major design oversight since you are already paying for Pro, but upgrading to Hobby on the personal account is going to be the fastest way to get the ball rolling, versus waiting for a response from the team.
