According to the documentation, I can purchase credits in the billing page. But I don't see this option anywhere in the website.
(I have an Indian-Issued credit card so i cant use the normal plan)

Anonymous

it is a policy implemented by the RBI (reserve bank of india)

Anonymous

it doesnt not allow automated payments without an AFA (additional factor of authentication)

the automatic payment based plan is honestly the way to go anyway

if it doesn’t work, you can buy credits

adam
MODERATOR

if the transaction fails you’ll get an email and you’ll have a day or two to buy credits

adam
MODERATOR

and if you miss that window the team will reenable your account and help you through the credit process

brody
EMPLOYEE

oh really? it will give you the option to buy credits even on the usage based plan?

Anonymous
TRIALOP

oh so i can buy credits after i get that email? There's no option within the website itself in advance?

adam
MODERATOR

it should, just cancel the usage plan and join the credit based

brody

Leaving this for anyone seeing this in the future:
After you cancel your hobby plan subscription, it won't give you the option to enable a prepaid plan until the beginning of the next month
After the month ends, when you have to choose a plan, it presents an option for prepaid in small grey text
After you make your first payment, you can restock on credits whenever on the Usage tab.

Thanks for leaving this here, was looking for this answer for hours.
Though it makes sense technically that the option would appear in the turn of the month, I find it quite inconvenient/confusing - why not give the option to jump back in with the credit-based plan right after you cancel your previous one?
(Apparently I'll have a very short window in the first week of next year to sort that out…)
