Railway does not yet have a native volume backup or snapshot feature.

Backing up files would have to be something the app attached to the volume is capable of doing.

@brody Is this still the case? How do you suggest that users run things like leveldb/lmdb and produce reliable backups that can also be restored?

That's definitely no longer the case, we now have a fully native backup solution and backup schedules (enabled in the service settings).

Not limited to our preset databases, you can backup any volume on any kind of service.
