You can think of Trial plan as just a trial of hobby plan
you're given 5 dollars of usage and you can do the same things hobby plan users can
( only with less maximum resource usage )

You can keep using Trial Plan until you've used up the 5 dollars of credit you're given, after that you'll need to upgrade to hobby plan to keep using Railway

so while my little project is running on the trial it will eventually consume the 5 dollar then i will have to upgrade

Well that would depend on your app, it's impossible to say how long it'll last without knowing how much resources your app uses

yea unfortunately you can only pay via bankcard as of right now, no workaround for that
