Hello. We're on the Hobby plan. The docs say Hobby keeps logs for 7 days, but another support thread says runtime and HTTP logs are stored for 90 days on every plan and only the dashboard view is limited. Which is right? How long does Railway store our services' runtime and HTTP logs, including any copy staff or a legal order could reach, and are they deleted at the end? We publish what we keep about our users, so a written answer we can quote would help. Thanks!

Both figures are correct, because they answer different questions. On Hobby, the 7-day figure is how far back you can view and query logs in the dashboard. Every stored log (runtime, deploy, build and HTTP) has a fixed 90-day lifetime on every plan, and that is the actual storage duration.
At the end of those 90 days, logs are deleted automatically. After that they are gone, and no plan, upgrade or request can bring them back, including requests from our side. Within the 90 days, log entries cannot be deleted early, individually or in bulk. All logs are stored in US West, whichever region your services deploy to.
For your published policy, you can state that service logs are stored for 90 days and then deleted, and that the dashboard shows the most recent 7 days on Hobby.
