You can set the root directory by going to your project at railway.com/dashboard, clicking on your service, navigating to the Settings tab, scrolling to Root Directory, entering Backend, and saving. Then trigger a redeploy from the Deployments tab by clicking the three-dot menu on the latest deployment and selecting Redeploy. More details are in our build configuration docs.
