Hey all,
I'm experiencing an interesting issue where I can't figure out how to launch a template in a specific region. Before the "metal" upgrade, this wouldn't be an issue as I could just change the region, however with the new "metal" upgrade, the instances launch on metal by default, and for the instances that have attached volumes I can't move them (I understand this is coming soon). This effectively means that I can't select the region in which I want the launched template to exist. Can't select during creation, can't change after creation.
Maybe I'm missing an obvious button somewhere when launching (hopefully).

Did you try setting a preferred deployment region in the workspace settings?
@Medim Thanks for this! Yeah I had a look around and found that (after posting). That would allow me to create the template in a specific region which technically unblocks me (still not amazing user experience though), however while I was in the workspace settings I also found in the experimental settings area there's the ability to turn on volume migrations for metal, which allowed me to just move across my projects 😄
