When will Railway finally figure this out?
For the past few MONTHS, IP resolution has been so inconsistent. Most requests come through fine, but some randomly return the Fastly proxy IP instead of the actual client IP.
This isn't method-specific either
Fastly-Client-Ip
X-Real-Ip
X-Forwarded-For
They all return the wrong IP on these random requests. This has been causing hundreds of users to fail IP verification on our website, daily. Every support thread I see on this ends with a Railway employee saying they've acknowledge the issue and fixed it, yet the problem comes back again and again.
When will we get a real solution to this? My experience with Railway has been very frustrating lately. Don't mark this thread as resolved until the issue is ACTUALLY FIXED.

It has actually just been fixed now. Sorry about that regression.
X-Real-Ip will now show the real client IP.

It is working right now, correct.
The issue however is that this isn't the first time this has been brought up recently. There have been numerous threads over the past few months reporting the same issue. They always get marked "resolved", yet the break again a few days or weeks later. The pattern is consistent: it breaks, gets resolved, then breaks again.
Client IP retrieval is a very basic yet fundamental requirement for a large number of applications. Repeated regressions on something this critical are not acceptable. This needs to be treated as a stability priority, not just a recurring fix.
