Title says it all is there anyway to just pause/shutdown a project temporarily without deleting it?

no. the most you can do is enable serverless which puts it to sleep. as long as you have no traffic, you wont really incur cost.

You can just remove the deployments. Serverless is not the same as shutting down.

I wish there is a pause option available so that project can be offline for maintenance and any other purpose.
