Our service occasionally gets spikes of traffic where we receive 100-300 requests in a second, and in response kick off several hundred outbound HTTP requests. We are noticing consistent problems on a portion of the outbound requests where they will hang until they hit our 10 second timeout.
Is there any limitations or abuse prevention on the Railway network layer? Or any limit to how much bandwidth we can use in a given period? It's currently hard for us to debug what might be causing this.

I'm sorry we have to keep meeting this way - whenever our platform doesn't perform to your expectations.
But no, there are not any explicit limits on egress connections or rate; the only limit would be the physical hardware.
