Try deleting your project first from its settings page (Settings > Danger > Delete Project), then retry deleting your account from account settings. If the error persists after the project is removed, reply here and we can look further.

The error keeps occurring when I'm in the “Danger” section and click the “Delete Account” button: the “Deleting Account” pop-up appears while it's processing, but it takes a long time to load; however, eventually a message appears above the “Delete Account” button that says “Problem processing the request,” and the account remains intact—it isn't deleted.

Please try the deletion again in a few hours. If the error persists, reply here with the approximate time you tried and we can dig into what's happening.

Really sorry about all of this, we just merged a fix and it should be working. I'd give it maybe 10-20 minutes and then try deleting again.
