Hello,

The account that needs the 2FA reset is associated with honglaysin1111@gmail.com.

I still have access to that email address, but I cannot sign in to the Railway account because the lost 2FA is exactly what is preventing login. Even when I sign in with the correct email/GitHub account, Railway immediately asks for the 6-digit authenticator code.

Because of this, I am unable to create a support request from the affected account.

I can prove ownership of the email address and GitHub account if needed. Could you please advise on the correct verification process for recovering access to the account?

GitHub username: honglaysin

The account that needs the 2FA reset (honglaysin1111@gmail.com, GitHub honglaysin) is different from the account this thread was opened from, so the standard verification here would check the wrong account. Please email Railway support from the email address on the account that needs the reset, so the request ties to the correct account and we can run verification there.

I understand that the account needing the reset is different from the account this thread was opened from.

However, the reason I cannot open a request from honglaysin1111@gmail.com is because that account is locked behind the lost 2FA. When I try to sign in using the correct email/GitHub account, Railway immediately asks for the authenticator code that I no longer have.

I still have access to the email address honglaysin1111@gmail.com and the linked GitHub account (honglaysin), but I cannot access the Railway account itself due to the lost 2FA.

Since I cannot log into the affected account, what alternative verification process can I use to prove ownership and recover access?

I opened this thread from a different account because I cannot log into the affected account.

The account that needs the 2FA reset is:

I still have access to both the email address and the GitHub account, but I cannot access the Railway account because the lost 2FA is preventing login.

Since I cannot sign into the affected account to create a ticket, what alternative verification process should I follow to prove ownership of that account?

You don't need to log into Railway to do this. Just send a plain email from honglaysin1111@gmail.com to our support address, describing the 2FA reset request. That email will automatically create a thread tied to the correct account, and we can then run verification there. Please email Railway support from the email address on the account that needs the reset, and we'll pick it up from there.
