I cannot open a shell inside the container to diagnose a crash.

Hello,

I am encountering a critical issue with my Railway project (ID: d73ea735-688c-4c6a-b780-cd3fe2c42e72, service: cbfe7942-22cb-4add-9634-0de5007553be).

I have a Railway Pro subscription (over €40/month), yet my service interface shows neither "Shell" nor "Open Shell," even though this feature is normally available on paid plans.

Consequences:

I cannot open a shell inside the container to diagnose a crash.

The railway shell command opens a local shell only, not a shell inside the container.

Consequently, I cannot inspect /app/dist or verify the actual contents of the deployed image.

Please check:

If a configuration setting or a bug is preventing the "Shell" button from appearing in the interface.

If my project is affected by a known limitation or issue.

I can provide screenshots if necessary.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Phil

You can access the "shell" (and filebrowser) through the Console tab. However, the service would need to be up and running in the first place.

I'd recommend checking the logs (by clicking on the crashed deployment) for further info.
