I had to pay the October invoice on the 29^(th), but I didn't have enough funds on my card because I only top it up when I have to pay an invoice.
As I didn't have enough funds, I was asked to change the card associated with the railways' billing system.
When I tried to do this, it took three attempts.
When I checked if the card was valid, I received an error message saying it was invalid. After trying three times, however, I checked the card for charges and saw the usual $1 charge to verify the card.
But, unlike when I replace the card, they never refunded those charges.
Could someone help me with this?
I have attached a screenshot of my card showing the $1 card validation charges (three times).

Hello,
The $1 USD charges are authorization holds placed on your card to verify that the card is valid. The holds will be removed within a few days by your bank.
Best,
The Railway Team.
