I have both backend and frontend repos hooked up with seemingly the right variables, but my backend has been stuck on "Port 3001
**·Waiting for DNS update·**Show DNS records" for days, with a similar message on the frontend but for port 8080.
For context, I'm using a godaddy domain name. it seems like there are sometimes problems hooking up railway and godaddy.

If you're using your root domain, you'd need to add @ and www records to your DNS provider. Some DNS providers don't support CNAME flattening (using root domain for CNAME records), so in that case, I'd recommend using Cloudflare's DNS service.
Also, make sure you've added the TXT record as well for domain verification.
If you've already added all the required records in Godaddy but it still doesn't work, I'd try removing all relevant records from Godaddy and Railway, wait for about an hour to let the cache die, then readd all the records again.
