Is there no old CNAMEs or TXT records pointing elsewhere?

Are they both set as DNS Only?

No, currently only have the _acme-challenge, one to access my backend server with 'api' as a cname, another cname with * and other one as my url example.pt, all DNS Only

Do you use Cloudflare?

If so, did you turn off Cloudflare proxying on the _acme-challenge record (the orange cloud) and enable Cloudflare's universal SSL?

Yes I use Cloudflare, and yes the DNS isnt being proxied, I also have the Cloudflare's universal ssl Enabled for my routes: *.example.pt, and example.pt. I've now tried to remove both domains and only insert *.example.pt but still isnt working

That's weird, could you please try disabling Universal SSL in Cloudflare for the wildcard (or restrict it to only example.pt)?

I'm having the same issue here. Did you get it resolved?

I didn't, I noticed railway starts recognizing as 'valid' when I proxy one of them, but the other one never gets recognized with Cloudflare, still searching for help
