I have both. And I recently transferred this to the pro plan

automote

Maybe there was a bug there?

brody

maybe your pro account is under a completely separate railway account?

automote

It is the same one

Can you increase the disk size to 10gb or something. I'm using n8n and the it used up the whole disk by accident. So need mopre storage so it lets me login and delete data there

brody

I can't personally do that as I'm just a moderator

brody

what's the urgency here if I may ask? is this blocking a production application?

automote
PROOP

Yes it is

brody

okay gotcha, will get eyes on this

automote
PROOP

Awesome thanks. I'm gonna try transferring it to hobby and back again to pro and see if fixes things

brody

@christian - pro user blocked with error while growing volume of production service

automote

automote

brody

Is it possible to take backups of a project. So if I face any issue, I can just restore the backup?

brody
EMPLOYEE

that's not functionally railway offers at the moment

automote
PROOP

Okay got it. How long do you think it will take for the disk to get expanded?

brody
EMPLOYEE

until Christian sees this, not sure when that will be, I'll probably tag the next on call if he doesn't reply in a few minutes

automote

Yea understood. Thanks. Hope this gets resolved asap and this is blocking our apps functionality

Looking at this now.

automote

Awesome

automote

@christian Do you think you can grow that volume to 10GB for now. So I can fix the issues that are blocking my apps functionality

brody
EMPLOYEE

you're on pro, there would be no need to only grow it to 10gb as the plan allows for 50gb, the issue here is the error not the size

automote
PROOP

Ah, I see. The reason I say that is seems like on your end its still showing up on the hobby plan. So thought you guys could grow it by a bit as a quick fix for my situation

brody
EMPLOYEE

that's a separate issue, as long as your project is within a pro workspace you are allowed to grow it to 50gb, there's just the error that needs to be looked into

Yes, you should be able to grow it to 50GB while it's in a Pro workspace

automote
PROOP

Got it

I've escalated internally, as I see the error you referenced when attempting to grow it

automote
PROOP

Okay thank you

automote
PROOP

So its not possible to grow that volumen atm?

brody
EMPLOYEE

the team can reproduce the error so it needs to be looked into and resolved before the volume can be grown

We're working on it and should have this resolved momentarily

automote
PROOP

Okay

Quick update to let you know we're actively working on this

automote
PROOP

Okay thanks for letting me know

Following up here to confirm that we've resized the disk to 50GB

We're addressing the issue that prevented you from growing the disk. Thank you for raising this.
