As the title suggests, I would like to setup a www redirect to the root domain. I tried adding both domains on railway & then redirecting via cname aswell. That said it is not working.
How would you go about it ?

It depends on whether your DNS provider supports DNS Flattening and dynamic ALIAS records. If not, you can either redirect from your www subdomain to your root domain in your code, or follow our guide here to set it up via Cloudflare.
