Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue with one of my services on Railway.

Description of the issue

Every time I deploy, the deployment is stuck at:

Initialization → “Taking a snapshot of the code…”

The build never starts and the service stays in this state forever.

What I observe

• Build logs remain completely empty:

  “Waiting for build to start…”

• No clone step, no build step, no container creation.

• Cancelling and redeploying changes nothing.

• Disconnecting and reconnecting the GitHub repo does not fix it.

• Pushing new commits does not trigger an actual build (still stuck).

• Other projects on my account deploy normally — only this service is “frozen”.

Important context

This issue started right after the Nov 25–26 outage (“Deploys and configuration changes delayed”).
It looks like this service’s deployment pipeline became corrupted during that outage.

Logs

There are effectively no logs to show — the build never begins.
Build Logs panel only displays:

“Waiting for build to start…”
