Intermittent production outages while deployment remains SUCCESS
Hello Railway Support,
We are experiencing intermittent availability issues on our production application, LicitaPortal.
Project: LicitaPortal
Service: licitaportal-web
Production domain: www.licitaportal.com
Region: SFO
The issue has happened multiple times today (September 17, 2026). From the user side, the website temporarily becomes unavailable or stops loading, but Railway continues showing the deployment/service as SUCCESS.
During the latest occurrence:
- Railway still reported
licitaportal-webasSUCCESS- The collector service also remained
SUCCESS- There was no application crash or new deployment at the time
- CPU and memory usage were very low
- After a short period, traffic started working again without us restarting or redeploying anything
- HTTP requests before and after the interruption returned normally
Current web deployment:
b1bad3cc-8873-4b76-9b3a-ad4d872b4bf6We are also seeing intermittent high latency, but the main concern for this ticket is the short periods where the production domain becomes unreachable even though the service remains healthy in Railway.
Could you please investigate whether there were any issues with Railway networking, proxy, edge routing, DNS resolution, load balancer, or the SFO region around these times?
We would especially like to know:
- Whether Railway detected any networking/proxy interruptions for this service.
- Whether requests failed before reaching our container.
- Whether there were any issues with the custom domain routing.
- Whether there were regional incidents in SFO not reflected as a deployment failure.
- Whether you recommend any Railway configuration changes to improve availability.
This is a production system with real users, so we would prefer not to restart or redeploy unnecessarily while investigating.
Thank you.
