Issue with Domain Purchased in Railway Not Connecting to Service

Hello Railway team,

I’m experiencing an issue with a domain I purchased directly through Railway - nevel.sh

I’m trying to attach this domain to one of my services. However, during the setup process, I only see an option to select a port. There are no DNS records or configuration instructions provided (such as A, CNAME, or other records), which makes it unclear how the domain is supposed to be connected.

It has already been over 24 hours, but the domain is still not working and remains in the following status: Waiting for DNS to propagate.

At this point, I don’t understand:

  • whether any additional configuration is required on my side,
  • how DNS is being managed for domains purchased inside Railway,
  • or what exactly needs to happen for the domain to become active.

After entering the custom domain and the port and clicking "Add Domain," is there not a popup that contains the CNAME and TXT records required?

Yes, but I still don't understand how it happened. Oh well, it worked and it worked.
