I have a Node.js project and I'm adding an environment variable in Railway, but even when accessing it as process.env.APP_NAME, it's returning undefined."

Where are you setting the environment variable? Can you share the screenshot?

did you set the variable in the service or as shared variable? did you redeploy after setting the variable?
