Hey, there's currently an ongoing incident.
New deploys for Free/Hobby plans have been paused and will resume once performance has been stabilized.

Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue where deployments are blocked with the message:
“Deploys have been paused temporarily.”
This happens both in the dashboard and when using the CLI railway up), where the deploy fails after compression.
Details:
- Plan: Hobby (usage-based)
- Billing is active and working
- Recent charge: $1.21 (April 5, 2026)
- Previous charge: $5.00 (March 5, 2026)
- Current usage is very low (~$0.31)
- Backend service is currently running successfully
- Only new deployments are blocked
This project is still in testing, not production, and I need to continue deploying updates.
Could you please:
- Check if my workspace is restricted
- Explain why deployments are paused
- Help remove the restriction if possible

Your account and billing are fine. As mentioned above in this thread, there is an active incident affecting the build system. Deploys for Free/Hobby plans have been temporarily paused while the team stabilizes performance. You can follow the status at https://status.railway.com/incident/ZLI8N955 - deploys will resume automatically once the incident is resolved.
