I’m a developer and asked my client to create the account and log in to the platform. During the process, a login key was generated in the browser, but it was deleted. Now, every time we try to log in, the system asks for the key again, and we no longer have it. How can we recover or bypass this to regain access?

Hey there!
We can remove your account's passkeys after verifying that you own the account.
Please create a new public repository named Railway-Passkey-Reset on the GitHub Account associated with your Railway account. Once you're done, reply to this with a link to the repository.

Hello,
As I explained earlier, I am the developer who built the project for my client. However, the Railway account was created by the client using only their Gmail account, and they do not have a GitHub account linked to it.
Because of this, we are not able to create the requested GitHub repository under the account associated with Railway.
How should we proceed in this case to verify ownership and reset the access keys?
Thank you.

Would it be possible for you to send a reset link directly to his email instead?

For accounts without a linked GitHub, we need the account owner to reach out to us directly from the email address associated with the Railway account. Please have your client send us a message from that Gmail address so we can verify ownership and proceed with the passkey reset.

Your client should email team@railway.com directly from the Gmail address associated with their Railway account, requesting a passkey reset.
Please note that no further communications regarding this account will be carried out unless they come directly from the account owner.
