Also, an obligatory question: why not simply scale out the old service via replicas?

Thanks! The service is a Discord bot, so as I understand, if we scale out via replicas - we'll have multiple instances of the bot being hosted, when we only need a shard to be hosted once.

Our bot is in 150K+ servers, therefore it is using quite a lot of shards and memory. Railway has been the best hosting provider for minimal infrastructure effort (we tried hosting on VPS and a few other providers previously)

Granted Railway is way more expensive, but is a lot easier

Ah yeah, we don't allow passing in different configurations per replica, so separate services make sense here.
