Migrate custom domain from a service to another

Hi,

It is possible to move a custom domain from a service to another in a different project ?
Or I have to remove the CNAME on my domain, remove the custom domain on railway and redo the process ?

theres a bit of a meta strategy you can do -

  1. remove the domain from the one railway service, do not remove the CNAME

  2. add it to your new railway service

  3. wait for the cert to issue, it will say incorrect value, ignore that

  4. once cert has been issued, now you can update the dns

doing it this way gives minimal downtime
