I resized my volume since I was getting an error saying there was no space left on the device but the volume increased but the filesize seemed to not have been

Thanks for reporting this. When you increased your volume size, the additional space wasn't fully applied to your database. I've corrected this on our end and redeployed your MongoDB service.
You should now have the full 5 GB of storage available. We've also shipped a fix to prevent this from happening on future volume resizes.
