My GitHub account has been hacked, and I'm afraid I won't be able to log back in when the platform requires it. What should I do? My clients' projects are here; I can move the code to another GitHub account, but what about the projects deployed here?

Your deployed projects will continue running normally regardless of your login status, so there's no immediate risk to your clients' services. On the access side, Railway authenticates through external providers as a security boundary, so we can't change, swap, or override login methods on our end. If your account has another sign-in method already linked (such as Google or email), you can use that to access your workspace.

My account is also "integrated" with my Gmail address. If I can't access it with my GitHub account, will I be able to access my account with my Gmail address?

Yes, if your Google account is already linked as a sign-in method on your Railway account, you can use it to log in at railway.com even if you lose access to your GitHub account. Your account and all projects will be exactly as they are now.

But it doesn't say "Use Gmail to log in to Railway," which is a problem. And if it is configured, where is it done?

Apologies for the confusion in our previous reply. Your screenshot shows Google is connected as an integration but not enabled as a login method, so it can't be used to sign in right now. Since GitHub is your only active login method, recovering your GitHub account through GitHub's own account recovery process is the way to maintain access to your Railway account. Your deployed projects will keep running normally in the meantime.

Is it possible to transfer projects to another PRO user's "Workspace" so they are in a more secure location?

You can transfer your projects to another workspace by following our documentation here: Transferring Projects. Note that the instructions vary based on the subscription type you are transferring from and to.
