Hello Railway Support,

I’m experiencing major performance issues with my n8n instance. Here are the details:

• Issue: My n8n workflows are very slow especially when i try to make automations handels large files , just downloading it , uploading it to another service , with long delays in both automation and file processing.

• What I tried: I upgraded my account to the Pro Plan to unlock maximum resources, and I have assigned the full available limits (32 vCPU, 32GB RAM) to the Worker service, make sure that all my " nodes " is in the same country.

• Observation: Despite this, performance is still very slow, even though usage graphs show I am far below the max limits of the plan.

• Expectation: I expected the Pro Plan to allow n8n to run much faster, especially when handling large files or concurrent workflows.

• Request:

  1. Please help me diagnose the cause of this slowness.

  2. Is there any hidden bottleneck or config limitation I should be aware of (e.g., internal throttling, disk I/O, or DB connection limits)?

  3. Can you review my actual usage versus my plan’s advertised features and limits, and let me know if I am missing anything?

  4. If there’s a way to further optimize or scale n8n performance, please advise.
