Error: column 9827483463398fbb7d6b96916fe451d8bdefa0e8.role does not exist
Project: perfect-perception
Service: Primary (n8n v1.113.3)
I need this SQL executed:
ALTER TABLE "user" ADD COLUMN IF NOT EXISTS "role" VARCHAR(32) DEFAULT 'global:member';
UPDATE "user" SET "role" = 'global:owner' WHERE "role" IS NULL;
Migrations never ran properly.

This error happens because the database migrations weren’t applied after the upgrade. Could you run the migration command again and see if it fixes the issue?
after thte migration the new update 1.113.1 my workflow let to work, and said that I miss a colummns:

Want to preface though. As a general rule of thumb any manual SQL run on services should be treated as a "worst case I lose everything" (even if its just a simple thing 😁).
Always make a backup of important workflows, data, settings, and secrets beforehand.
it is just for test not for work…just I sent to you the error that n8n gave to me that nobody can help me, thanks for your advide+
how can I resolve the problem ?? my workflows worked perfectly and after the update it i not working. I did not touch anything of my workflow it is about railways, it inos fair play, I spend a lot to make the workflow and I have to spend time to resolve this problem as well

Did you do what Noah suggested? Back up the Postgres instance, then run the SQL you believe fixes this. As they said, gotta be extra careful.
You can do this by using a Postgres client and connecting to the DB to execute the SQL, I use this one:

Also make sure this is not in your n8n env N8N_SKIP_MIGRATIONS=true
i DON T KNOW BACK UP THE POSTRGES AND RUN SQL, I DONT KNOW WAHT IS SQL , I DON KNOW HOW CAN I USE EGGERAPPS. IT IS LIKE YOU AR SPEAKING ME IN CHINNESE

You are not the only one, there's a lot of non-technical people using Railway especially with automation tools like n8n.
what can I do ?? the workflow it is not working for the migration … xd if I konw this I dont update n8n

Backup your postgres first. This is how to do it

You said Service: Primary (n8n v1.113.3) but is the Worker also on this version? You can check by Clicking the Worker service then Settings.

In that case, make sure the versions match, that could also trigger the issue you are running into
CLAUDE. said that I don t have one column, that the column was missing after the update then if i install before version anyway it is not working. Claude recommend me this program, but i was thinking that may be there are an easy way to resolve this problem because it is aproblem of railways after the update . This is the program… if the team can resolve the problem will be better, I won t like to dowload the program try to learn about the program and spend my time in this… xd https://eggerapps.at/postico2/

You cannot access the SSH terminal from the Railway website.
