I created a free account on the website, however, when linking to GitHub, I received an announcement stating that my account was limited (that I couldn't do much beyond databases). To complete verification and upgrade to the one-time $5 monthly plan, I opted to make the corresponding payment requested by Railway through Hobby using an Argentine payment method. On Railway's billing page, my payment doesn't appear (neither approved nor canceled, nor any options to request a refund); the history is empty. However, in my virtual wallet app, the payment was made. What should I do next?

The $1 is an authorization hold placed on your account to verify the card is valid. The hold will be removed within a few days.

Is there any way to request a refund/cancellation of that verification? I'm not willing to wait "a few days," and I'd rather get that dollar back.

Unfortunately, no, the hold has already been released on our side. The remaining time would be how long your bank takes to clear it and reverse it on their side.
