My service down today due to last incident, any way to improve?

So the problem is I did not have any email notification, and I got my email from Uptime Robot. And the database is down, so my backend services are all down. When it recovers, I have to go back and manually restart the server to recover my backend as a railway stop to retry restarting the server. This means I have to stay online and wait for the incident to resolve and restart the server. My suggestion is that can we make it so when it resolves, maybe restart the failed server?

First, you can subscribe to https://status.railway.com/ to get updates immediately when we Status. That should help you be aware of incidents on the platform in the future.

I'll take the feedback to the team about restarting services that were downed after an incident. You can configure your Restart policy to always restart, if that's what you want to do: https://docs.railway.com/guides/healthchecks-and-restarts
