Hi Railway team,
Two of my production services are currently down, and I’m seeing errors on Railway’s side. One is a paying client’s website, so this outage is directly impacting my business and my commitments to customers.
Could you urgently confirm what’s causing the outage, what you’re doing to restore service, and the estimated recovery time?
Once the incident is resolved, I’d also like a clear explanation of what happened, how you’ll prevent it from recurring, and what compensation or service credits you can offer.
Reliable hosting is essential for my business. Without a satisfactory resolution, I’ll have to consider moving my services to another provider.
Best regards, Maxime Courant

We're sorry for the disruption this is causing you and your client. Your active services are deployed and running on our side. We're tracking an ongoing incident, "External network blocks affecting access to Railway": some network providers and security services are blocking Railway IP addresses after a third party sent scanning traffic using forged Railway source IPs. That traffic does not come from our network, and it is not evidence that any services or workloads were compromised. Visitors on affected networks can't reach Railway-hosted apps, while other networks are unaffected.
We're working with network providers and security vendors to get these blocks removed, but we can't yet give an estimated time for every affected network to lift them. In the meantime, anyone affected can ask their network administrator or provider to review blocks on Railway IP addresses and share the incident notice with them. Using a different network may also restore access temporarily. You can follow updates here: External network blocks affecting access to Railway.
We're unable to offer compensation or service credits for this incident.
