Static IPs on Railway are for outbound traffic only and cannot be used to receive inbound traffic such as pings or incoming connections. They are meant for whitelisting your service's outbound IP with third-party providers or firewalls. To receive inbound traffic to your service, you need to set up a public domain.

I setup a public domain, but still the static ip is not reachable, and when I do nslookup on the website address, it shows 151.101.2.15 and when checked, it shows 404 not found on railway page. What is going on? Why is something as simple as ip address a big issue for your platform?
